Assistance in basic activities of everyday life includes:

- Body hygiene for bedridden persons;
- Assistance in morning and evening hygiene;
- Change of diapers (ablutions);
- Anti-bedsore hygiene (rubbing with ointments, clapping);
- Change of one’s position in bed (bedridden persons);
- Assistance with physiological needs (persons who require such help);
- Trimming one’s fingernails and toenails (persons who require such help);
- Facial shaving (persons who require such help);
- Cutting one’s hair (bedridden and disabled persons);
- Assistance in shaving (persons who require such help);
- Mouth hygiene;
- Bathing (persons unable to do it on their own);
- Washing one’s head (persons unable to do it on their own);
- Taking also bedridden persons to the open air, a walk;
- Assistance in washing one’s head (persons unable to do it on their own);
- Assistance in administration of medications;
- Poultices, compresses;
- Rubbing with medicaments;
- Dropping of medications into one’s nose, eyes, ears;
- Measurement of temperature, pulse, blood pressure;
